Is it autumn in New York?

Feels like the fall is taking over here in the Big Onion. I am in heaven. Me no likee the heat of the summer months. Sweaters and penny loafers for me, lemme tell ya. Yeah, I think I channel Nancy Drew or at the very least Katharine Hepburn circa 1946. Sweater sets, pencil skirts and penny loafers? Yeah…not really.

Anyway, the air is crisp and I am NOT  schvitzing like a pig so things are groovy.  I’ve really got nothing else to report other than I hope you guys are out there enjoying the day. I hope your day is realtively trouble free.

Keep good thoughts for yourself, ya know? It’s okay to pray for yourself. It’s completely valid to feel selfish sometimes. Constructive selfishness is A-ok.

Take care of yourself so you can take care of others….

Be swell.

I absolutely love fall. I really wished though we had a more traditional type of fall. Down here it gets really warm then really cool.

I almost forgot that September brings this type of weatehr. I lvoe the air at night, the way it can be tinged with woodsmoke and smell like drying leaves. It’s a perfume that makes me feel alive.

Things won;t cool off down here until next month. Even then, it’s not fall. It’s more like a warm spring weather. It’s actually quite like paradise, but I still miss Autumn.
